It is with profound sadness that we have allowed our lovely friend “Kayak” to pass away peacefully today. All of the nurses and clinicians involved are deeply sad as they had grown to know and love her in these past few days. We had all done our very best to support her both emotionally and physically over these difficult days, but unfortunately her ordeal had resulted in irreparable damage to her internal organs.   Fitzpatrick Referrals have recently expanded their Neurology service by the welcome addition of ECVN Specialist Dr Colin Driver who joined in October 2014. Colin graduated with honours from the RVC in 2008 where he subsequently undertook a one year rotating internship and three year residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery, which was combined with a joint PhD programme with the University of Ghent, Belgium.
