Expansion of the Neurology Service at Fitzpatrick Referrals

Fitzpatrick Referrals have recently expanded their Neurology service by the welcome addition of ECVN Specialist Dr Colin Driver who joined in October 2014.

Colin graduated with honours from the RVC in 2008 where he subsequently undertook a one year rotating internship and three year residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery, which was combined with a joint PhD programme with the University of Ghent, Belgium.

Colin, from London, is particularly interested in the diagnosis and treatment of syringomyelia, epilepsy, novel neuroradiology techniques and neuro-oncology.

Clare Rusbridge who has been at Fitzpatrick Referrals for over a year said “We are delighted to be expanding our ever growing department and offer the very best service to our referring primary care veterinary surgeons. Colin is a very experienced neurologist whose skillset makes a great complement to the Fitzpatrick’s team”

In addition to Colin and Clare, Anna Tauro recently took up a residency position in Neurology. Anna has a special interest in neuromuscular disorders and when not managing a clinical case load is investigating polymyositis in the Hungarian Vizsla breed.
