Surgery to treat bone cancer and non-resectable soft tissue cancer of the limbs

In addition to the conventional techniques of amputation and chemotherapy, we offer limb-sparing surgery for dogs that would not cope after limb amputation. We can design custom-made internal implants to replaced resected bone tumours, allowing a rapid recovery to pain free ambulation in large and giant breed dogs. We have used this technology for management of bone cancer in dogs very successfully for years.

We were the first surgical center worldwide to offer the intraosseous transcutaneous amputation prosthesis (ITAP) technology developed by Stanmore Implants Worldwide Ltd. We have treated dogs and cats with great success using this innovative technology in circumstances where amputation or euthanasia were the only possible alternatives.
