Testimonials
Dear Noel, with thanks to your care and skill we now have Blue with us enjoying a quality of life we didn't believe possible. We would not have wanted an animal who just kept going for our benefit, but one who lived for the joy of life itself, and this is what we are most grateful to you for. Your Referral Centre is indeed a centre of excellence, and all concerned worthy of praise for its smooth running, and their commitment. Thank you Noel. Blessings, Love and Light on all your endeavours.

Thanks again, and whilst I hope we don't run into any more mystery canine ailments, if we do, you'll be our first port of call.

You looked after Grizzly so well and we can’t thank you enough. You gave him a new lease of life, so we all could enjoy him.

However today our dog Barney completed a full walk for the second day running and without any obvious repercussions so I think I’m safe to express my gratitude! Your skill as a surgeon is a true gift and I am so pleased we were able to benefit from it, and relieve Barney’s pain. Thank you for giving us our dog back.

A heartfelt thank you for the first class care our Labrador Fudge received whilst in your care. It was reassuring to know he was in good hands. We couldn’t help notice the dedication of the whole team we had contact with. You are all a credit and owe yourselves a huge pat on the back. Once again, thank you very much.

Thanks for the care, skill and kindness you have shown Gertie. Gertie was in horrible pain, her whole demeanour changed – I never truly believed that she would make the recovery she has – she’s the old perpetually naughty dog she was and just thanks seem so little to say.

To all who worked tirelessly to save my leg and gave support to my owner in her darkest hours when she thought amputation would occur. My eternal grateful thanks to you all. I am looking forward to 3 June when I am told I can run of the lead for the first time in seven months! Once again, a big thank you.
Charlie, the dog.
It hardly seems enough in comparison for your gracious and generous gift to us, we are truly grateful for the compassion you have shown and for the skill with which you repaired that fated left leg. Giving Roo back the ability to run freely and climb! – priceless, so gratifying. You can rest assured that he will have many years of fun thanks to your kind and deft nature. We won’t forget you.
Cindy.
A year has passed since you put Rosie together for us and we are all grateful to you, now the clouds have cleared we realise what a fine job you did somewhat against the odds. She is very happy, mobile, enjoys long walks and is immensely spoilt. She couldn’t ask for more and neither could we – thank you.

I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work and dedication that you put into Frankie. It is obvious that the animals’ welfare always comes first at your centre. You are all very committed to your job and with the care and compassion shown by you, Frankie’s stress and discomfort were kept to a minimum. He never appeared stressed when we drove up to and walked into the surgery, in fact he always appeared pleased to be there. This I believe has allowed him to keep his faith in mankind.
Two days ago Frankie was let off the lead for the first time in 17 weeks; he was in his element running through the woods. He had a spring back in his step and had a wonderful time. It brought happy tears to my eyes as I did not think I would ever see him run again. I know that this would not have been possible without all the professionalism and commitment demonstrated by all of the staff at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
I’m sure that if Frankie could speak, he would say how grateful he is for your kind, caring, understanding and compassionate team. He means the world to me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Much heartfelt thanks for all the help you have given to our newly transformed cat, Jack. When he was first rescued by Cats’ Protection League and treated at Fitzpatrick Referrals, it was obvious that the animals are the prime concern of your practice. He had been treated on behalf of the charity when he was a tiny kitten with a double break in his right rear leg and a broken pelvis.
He had an external fixator and needed physiotherapy three times daily for the six weeks of his subsequent cage rest at your practice. He was so adorable that was soon adopted by my husband and me. He is a very loving little boy who couldn’t understand that cage rest and physiotherapy was for his future well being. Unfortunately, he didn’t walk as well as he should. As time went by he began to limp badly and we revisited you for an advisory consultation to discover he had developed a serious hip problem.
Luckily, expert treatment was close to hand. You and your team made us aware that a pioneering feline hip replacement would provide Jack with the best quality of life. The operation has been a complete success however Jack was horrified to find himself back on cage rest for 6 weeks, even though he thought “great no pain I’m off!!”. This was a difficult time but we got through it and, thanks to the expertise and care of you and your staff.
He is now without pain and running around outside more mobile than we have seen him before. His rehabilitation was of course helped by the staff at your hydrotherapy pool, who kindly gave Jack his swimming lessons. You have all been fantastic and we can’t thank you enough for giving us our little bundle of joy.
Di and Dave.
