Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) to join the brand-new dentistry team at our practice in Eashing from January 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN with strong anaesthesia skills to help set up and support the running of our new referral dentistry service within Fitzpatrick Referrals. Your primary role will be to provide nursing support to the veterinary dentist and patients. With the help of a dedicated veterinary care assistant, you will share responsibility for patient safety and quality of care throughout the patient journey. As part of the dentistry team, you will work collaboratively with other colleagues around the hospital to meet the needs of patients.
You will support the veterinary dentist during consults and diagnostics, assist with anaesthesia during procedures and surgery through to recovery and generally be responsible for patient welfare during their stay with us. This role will likely involve some client communication and liaison with other departments around the hospital; therefore, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Previous experience with dental patients and procedures would be beneficial and strong anaesthesia skills and experience are essential.
This is a full-time position and the working pattern for this role is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am – 6pm. We are offering a salary of up to £34,000 per annum for the right candidate.
