Amie Slade

Amie Slade joined Fitzpatrick Referrals in 2007. Always knowing she wanted to work with animals and owning a dog since a young age, Amie went to college straight after school to do a two-year animal management course. During this time, she gained work experience in hydrotherapy here at Fitzpatrick Referrals, which had just opened. Following college, she was offered a job at Fitzpatrick Referrals, where she qualified in key stage 3 hydrotherapy and advanced underwater treadmill and hasn’t stopped learning since!

Amie still takes great pleasure in gaining more experience with each case she sees. She enjoys doing her bit to aid her patients’ recovery, helping them to regain a good quality of life with the gratitude from a grateful owner, knowing they love their animal just as much as Amie loves her own.
