Dr Enzo Minghella graduated from the University of Perugia (Italy) in 2006 defending a thesis on General Anaesthesia of the Foal. After spending two years in some of the busiest first opinion and referral practices in Rome, where he focused mainly on anaesthesia and emergency and critical care and moved to the UK in March 2009.
He completed a one-year internship in small animal anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool and a four year residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the School of Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow where he stayed as university clinician until June 2017. He is currently studying towards the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.
Enzo likes all aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia. His main interests are Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA) and Target Controlled Infusion (TCI), loco-regional analgesic techniques and chronic pain in cancer patients.
