Katie Ozard

Hydrotherapist

Katie qualified with BSc (Hons) Animal Science, Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Plymouth in 2011. After graduating Katie returned home to Guernsey where she worked at a local veterinary practice and qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant.

Katie has always been interested in canine rehabilitation along with canine behaviour, so alongside working she attended a number of canine behaviour courses and seminars, and she qualified as a dog trainer through the IMDT (Institute of Modern Dog Trainers) in 2016.

Whilst working privately as a dog trainer Katie took a job at a larger veterinary practice where she worked in canine rehabilitation. Here she gained her qualification in small animal hydrotherapy at Greyfriars in 2017. After working in Guernsey for a while, Katie came to Fitzpatrick Referrals for a work placement and not long after she was given the opportunity to work for Fitzpatrick Referrals permanently and joined the team in September 2018.
