Junior IT Technician

Fitzpatrick Referrals is an independent specialist veterinary referral practice in Surrey, delivering world-class orthopaedics and neurology care to patients from across the UK and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity for a college graduate with an A-level, diploma or degree and some experience in another IT support role.

The role

You will report to the IT manager and provide technical support to colleagues across the group of businesses via telephone, in person and using remote support technology as necessary.

You will have and be able to deliver high standards of service along with efficient and timely verbal and written communications. You will also have a high regard to confidentiality and be able to undertake recurring IT&T tasks on a regular basis, reporting outcomes as appropriate to the IT manager and finance manager.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday predominantly but with some flexibility for evenings and weekends where required to support the 24/7 nature of the business. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, 32 days annual leave per annum inclusive of public and bank holidays, increasing to 35 days after 3 years’ service, a workplace pension, life assurance, company sick pay and access to an employee assistance programme.

The practice

The practice is located in the south west of Surrey, just outside the historic market town of Godalming, close to Guildford and the beautiful Surrey Hills with excellent travel links to London.
