Dr Marc Pérez Soteras

Dr Marc Pérez Soteras graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2012, with a degree in veterinary medicine. During his final year, he started working in a busy hospital in Barcelona for the next few years and developed an interest in small animal soft surgery and neurology. Marc then completed a neurology internship under the supervision of a neurology specialist and European Neurology Diplomates (Dipl. ECVN) at Ars Veterinaria, before enrolling in the three-year European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) approved residency programme in neurology and neurosurgery at the same institution.

In 2026, Marc passed his board certification, meeting the requirements of the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Neurology, to become an EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Marc enjoys every aspect of the science of neurology, especially neurosurgery. His main interests are feline intervertebral disc disease and other degenerative spinal conditions.
