Specialist expertise in diagnostic imaging

Fitzpatrick Referrals offers a number of specialist imaging services to support you in managing cases efficiently and providing the highest level of care for your clients.

In addition to our outpatient advanced diagnostic imaging service, we offer a radiograph reporting service which will provide you with a specialist interpretation of your radiograph with follow up advice to enable you to manage the case and perform the appropriate procedures whilst offering you the level of information you would need for the decision making process of whether or not to refer.

Radiograph reporting service

Veterinary practices can submit non-digital radiographs by post (hard copies or CDs) and digital images can be sent to us by email or by upload by clicking here.

We offer a rapid turnaround service and you will receive a summary of our findings and our interpretation, either verbally or via a written report depending on your preference, within 24 hours. We will respond to all urgent cases within two hours. Our specialist expertise in diagnostic imaging can offer an extension to the care you provide for your clients, whether you choose to manage a case or not, and all our reports are provided by boarded specialists who will offer you timely diagnosis and advice to allow you to decide on the best course of treatment for your patient. Verbal reports are provided free of charge.

MRI/CT

MRI and CT studies can also be sent to Fitzpatrick Referrals for reporting by our outpatient advanced diagnostic imaging service. You can submit via email or post and you will receive your report within 24 hours, or within two hours if you have an emergency case.

CPD

As part of our commitment to sharing our knowledge to support you in providing the best possible care for your clients, we also provide free radiograph reading evenings to help you improve your interpretation of x-rays.
