Over the last few years, we have become aware that some families have felt that Fitzpatrick Referrals isn’t available to them, because of any number of reasons, such as cost, exclusivity, or the perception that we’re too busy. We wanted to debunk that myth.
The system is that your primary care vet makes a referral where they feel specialist care is required or where they feel a second opinion is warranted.
What you may not know is that YOU have the right to ask for a referral or a specialist second opinion, and to specify where YOU want to be referred to.
Fitzpatrick Referrals is a wholly independent veterinary referral centre; we pride ourselves on our care and compassion as much as our extensive experience and knowledge. We are always available to discuss your needs and provide you with options, medical as well as surgical. We are transparent about waiting times and costs, which are comparable to most other referral centres.
We work collaboratively with vets to give your much-loved animal family the full-rounded care they deserve, and give you ALL the information to help inform your decision.
We believe the choice is yours, and working with your vet, you can make that request to wherever you wish. We offer referral services in orthopaedics, neurology, regenerative medicine, rehabilitation and dentistry.
