About

Katrina joined the Fitzpatrick Referrals team in February 2026, bringing a wealth of international experience across research, referral hospital settings, and general practice, along with a strong passion for advanced patient care. Originally from Hong Kong, she graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2020.

Following graduation, Katrina worked as a veterinarian at the Animal Welfare Office at the University of Otago before completing two prestigious small animal rotating internships at Veterinary Specialists Aotearoa in Auckland and the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She also holds postgraduate certificates in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care and Small Animal Ultrasound from the University of Melbourne.

Katrina has contributed to veterinary research and literature, and her abstract on feline hepatomegaly was presented as a poster at the 48th WSAVA World Congress in Lisbon.

From 2024 to 2026, Katrina worked as a general practitioner in West Yorkshire, providing first-opinion care for local animals. In early 2026, she joined Fitzpatrick Referrals as a hospitalist, driven by her dedication to delivering high-quality clinical care. She looks forward to supporting animals and their owners during their time in the hospital.
