Fitzpatrick Referrals is pleased to share the recent professional achievements of our dedicated nursing team.
Nurses from across our two specialist referral centres in Eashing and Guildford, Surrey, have been busy furthering their skills whilst delivering the highest standard of care for our patients.
Clinical Nurse Coordinator Roxanne O’Brien from our orthopaedics and neurology team is now a graduate diploma holder (GradipVN RVN) in professional and clinical veterinary nursing.
Roxanne works full time at our Eashing practice, where she coordinates and line manages the clinical teams in wards and prep.
Prep Nurse Lauren McCarthy from our orthopaedics and neurology practice recently gained her RCVS Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Anaesthesia, Medical & Surgical).
Also in the Prep Team, Nurses Denise Tonry and Jessica Wary have both obtained their Vets Now Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care.
At our oncology and soft tissue hospital in Guildford, Head Nurse Carly Seymour has passed her VTS exams and is now officially a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia and Analgesia.
Nurses Gabby Handcock and Sarah Reed from our Eashing practice have recently achieved their Anaesthesia Certificate.
