Enzo Minghella achieves Specialist status in anaesthesia

Congratulations Enzo Minghella, DVM DipECVAA MRCVS

Fitzpatrick Referrals is delighted to announce that our Anaesthetist Enzo Minghella has passed his exams for his European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia, to become a recognised EBVS® European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia.

Enzo works across both our orthopaedics and neurology centre in Eashing and our oncology and soft tissue hospital in Guildford.

Enzo graduated from the University of Perugia (Italy) in 2006 defending a thesis on General Anaesthesia of the Foal. After spending two years in some of the busiest first opinion and referral practices in Rome, where he focused mainly on anaesthesia and emergency and critical care and moved to the UK in March 2009. He completed a one-year internship in small animal anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool and a four-year residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the School of Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow where he stayed as university clinician until June 2017.

Enzo likes all aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia. His main interests are Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA) and Target Controlled Infusion (TCI), loco-regional analgesic techniques and chronic pain in cancer patients.
