Dr James Guthrie becomes a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation

Congratulations to Dr James Guthrie for becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation last week.

Dr James Guthrie is one of the most highly qualified veterinarians in Europe and the only veterinarian in the UK to be a Diplomate in both Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics, Soft Tissue & Neurosurgery) and Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

James continually strives to improve his own knowledge and has also studied towards, and is awaiting examination, for the RCVS Advanced Veterinary Practice Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging.

We’re incredibly proud of James’ achievements and his support developing the specialist vets of the future, through his training of our residents and interns, and work with veterinary students at the University of Surrey.
